Wang Jue
Wang
Jue, LLM, is director of Department of Guiding the Grass-root Work, Ministry
of Justice, China, where he provided leadership in community correction,
People’s mediation, People’s jury, arrangement for emancipist; he is also director of a research about community correction
project funded by Ministry of Justice. He once served
as procurator of People’s procuratorate of Beijing, director of office,
member of procuratorial committee, director of Department of Finance and
Equipment, Ministry of Justice, China.
He has
visited Britain, Italy, Japan, Canada, and some other countries to study
the principles of community correction. His major academic works include
Thinking in pilot project of community correction,
Current
Situation and Developing Tendency of Chinese Community Correction,
Report on Community Correction in Britain and Italy.

Youjiang
Wang Youjiang is vice
director and member of party committee, Beijing Justice Bureau, served
for construction of judicial branch in grass root, people’s mediation,
community correction. Formerly, he served as manager of department
store, Ping Gu County, and vice director of party committee, Ping Gu
County.

Wu Zongxian
Wu Zongxian, director of the Penological Division of Institute for
Crime Prevention, Ministry of Justice of China. He worked in China
University of Political Science and Law as lecturer. His research
focus on criminology, legal psychology, and penology.
His major works include history of Criminology in the West, published
in1997; Western Criminology, published in1999; Psychological
Treatment for Offender Abroad, published in 2004. As chief editor,
his works include Studies of Non-Custodial Penalties, published in
2003; and Psychological Treatment for Prisoners in China,
published in 2004. He is co-author of book Community Corrections:
Theory and Practice, published in 2004
As major translator, he translated Causes of Delinquency, Travis
Hirschi, 1997; Psychology of Criminal Conduct: Theory, Research, and
Practices, Ronald Blackburn, 1993; Forensic Psychology, Lawrencs S.
Wrightsman, 2001. As Co-translator, he translated Theoretical
Criminology: From Modernity to Post-modernism, Wayne Morrison, 1997.

Dr. Zhang Yu, professor, dean of Social work School and deputy director of MPA education
Center in East China University of Science and Technology. He is also
director of Xinhang Community Service head station.

Wang Shun’an
Dr.Wang
Shun’an, is a professor at the Criminal Justice
School, the advisor of postgraduate research institute and director
of the Crime Research nstitute, China University of Political Science
and Law. He is a standing director and deputy secretary-general of
Criminology Research Association, vice chairman of National Institute of
Crime and Correctional Psychology, a syndic of
the Association of Labor Education and Rehabilitation and a syndic of
Beijing Law Society. Professor Wang was once awarded Teacher of
Excellence in
Beijing, got the first prize of Teaching Achievements by Beijing
government and the second prize by the central goverement. because
of his contribution to education. He has published a series of works:
“Enforcement of Criminal Law”,”General Dissertation of Criminal law
enforcement”, ”Theory and Practice of Community Correction”, ”Research
the reasons of Crimes in China”.

Chu
Huaizhi
Chu Huaizhi, professor
of Beijing University, member of the Consulting Committee of the Supreme
Procuratorate, a specially invited expert on Community Correction
by the Ministry of Justice, and a specially
invited researcher of International Criminal Research Institute, Renmin
University of China. He graduated from Beijing University of
Political Science and Law in 1955 and later worked in Beijing University
as assistant, lecturer, associate professor. His research focus on the fields of criminology,
crime and criminal policy. He has published several works such as
“Integration of Crimes”, “Crimes in U.S.A” |
